- Alright, alright, let me, Laustu Brightstrider, answer all your questions. To the east of here is an altar dedicated to the aboriginal god, Jierkzjerkultula. It is guarded by a sizable group of aborigines, as well as a wooden creature. I strongly advise against engaging it in close combat; I've seen it crush a huge boulder with its bare hand. I've never been to the aboriginal city, and I think you can guess why. About five hundred of these little guys live there, and, of course, they are ready to defend their home from intruders. The ruins of some ancient structure are located north of there. I couldn't deal with the fog in the north in my time; it's a nasty thing. I suspect that a wizard capable of dispelling magic could break through this barrier, but unfortunately, none of my companions have that ability, and I myself don't possess any magical skills.
