Played slowly – got distracted by experience and scrolls, cleared out guards, and by the end of the week, I had 5 heroes and 2 towns) and 200 peak. In the second game, I took the Hive by going off-road (ran away because of 2 groups of gypsies, and they joined me right away), scouting, Tiris gets and maxes out diplomacy, Adel gets a pre-maxed consultant, +30 vampires, +20 horses... On day 13, I also grab 27 gold worth of cyclops, fight off the cartographer, and see a chain of the opponent's units heading straight for me. There are only about 40 fire elementals + joined units (( – on tactical map with morale, almost the entire army is wiped out.
