Sacrificed meat from the scout hero and a few goblins needlessly at the start. Capturing two external dwellings of birds and one of ogres turned out to be detrimental. And there was very little gold from the respawn. Ended up taking everything, left with 4 birds and no gold. No way to take two Dwarf Cottages. Would have been impossible to save up for a long time... Probably should not have hired a fifth hero on the first day, but instead built +1000 and first gone to clear the secondary, then the external dwellings... Though there as well... 41 elves, 7 of them grand elves, and on the other side a double block of the same number of evil eyes and beholders...
