...the obelisk glitched, and there's no path or entrance to it (I've seen this happen twice now, you can only get there by flying, and even then, not always...).

Once, we were playing against Stinger, and near the entrance to the center, the castle grew like a cactus, and it was impossible to get into the castle, even with flight. That was quite something!
