The only road on the adjacent zone was blocked by 50-99 Archmagi. After circling around, I broke through and hit a one-way portal. Sent in a scout hero - who ended up in the pampas. 100% sure there would be a road at the exit, I sent in papa and he also went into the pampas, just different ones. What a road network - from the castle to nowhere. That was the last straw, especially since the opponent was showing a Diplomat, and catching up from a 2-week head start wasn't appealing.
