leadership/tactics/scouting/intelligence/wisdom/archery/resist look equally good (regardless of the template).

Leadership is replaced by 2-3 artifacts for morale, a useless skill.
Scouting is the most useless.
I've never taken Intelligence, only if it's offered along with something from the seafaring series or eagle eye.
Resist sometimes helps in the finale, but I only take it in the cases mentioned above.
Archery is generally only needed for Castle and Rampart. A rather debatable skill for a single stack.
Tactics is OP and I always take wisdom.
