I once wrote about the uselessness/overestimation of the Wisdom skill, arguing this with my own data, which showed that only 3.5% of Pandora's Boxes contain useful spells. This observation didn't generate much interest, but now I've noticed an error in my methodology – I counted all the boxes, when it would have been more appropriate to only consider the most valuable ones (value over 10k). I'll correct this now – a respectable 14% of the boxes justify the lost slot and 3 points in secondary skills. Although, in my opinion, there are only 5 undoubtedly valuable secondary skills (+pathfinding for ranged units) and the remaining 2-3 slots can be left for – leadership/tactics/scouting/intelligence/wisdom/archery/resistance, which all look equally good (without considering the build).
