20.06.2014 Falcone(red, Stronghold, Crag Hack) def Svetogor(blue, Castle, Valeska) Jebus Cross, 135
After my 2 restarts and 3 from the opponent, a respawn with 4 Dragon Fly Hives and a box behind 20-49 griffins opened up. On day 2, in a difficult fight (I was counting on removing retaliations from the griffins, which unexpectedly started retaliating against 2 attacks) I broke the box — got 50 wolves. I discovered 2 more Dragon Fly Hives, and an external dwelling of birds was also captured.
Half of the respawn was blocked by monks standing on the road; the other part, revealed by scouting, was a very wide roadless area where, far far away, a Griffin Conservatory and another Dragon Fly Hive were visible. I decided to use the wolves to collect the Dragon Fly Hives, level up Crag Hack, and make a quick exit to the center.
Money was a problem — I barely managed to build bears in the Citadel. Crag leveled up well — taking a box for 5k experience behind basilisks, he experted Earth and Air by the end of the week, collected 29 wyverns from 6 Dragon Fly Hives, took a level 1 Griffin Conservatory, also found boots and got Logistics. The ГО was from a group of minotaurs.
I managed to exit on day 124. I broke the ГО and immediately blundered — ran forward along the path, looked back — saw a hat for the entire 5th level behind cows, went back for it, ran along the road again, spending about 1.5-2k movement on this maneuver.
I took the castle in the center. I tracked the opponent's position with Earth and Air scrying. In the center, I picked up a helmet for +10 mana, found an Angel portal, took several Dragon Fly Hives and a Dragon Utopia, which gave me a Sword of Justice and armor for +3 spell power from the good stuff.
The opponent showed up on day 134, and stopped in front of a Dragon Utopia. I decided to attack him immediately, although I had concerns that by that timing the opponent might have collected home Dragon Utopias and found the Red Orb or the Cloak. At that point, my army consisted of 1 angel, 12 thunderbirds and 47 wyverns + impla at 1200. Stats 16 18 11 8, vs 18 8 4 5 for Valeska, whose army was mainly 9 archers, 8 champions and 12 wyverns.
In the FB, the impla quickly decided the outcome of the battle. By the way, it would be interesting to have fought this battle with the Red Orb.
Thanks for the game!
I had to take this layout. At the exit from the castle, on one side along the road, there was a block of up to 50 vamp lords behind a sword +6, I had to take a long detour. On the other side, I found an external dwelling of horses, but far away, and along the road a level 1 Griffin Conservatory. There was enough money and crypts to build angels. I then decided to abandon the horses. I took the external dwelling of griffins. Three more Griffin Conservatories opened up, but all far away. At the first one, with the angel, I took a level 1 Griffin Conservatory, built chains to the other Griffin Conservatories. Starting from the second week, it turns out that two Griffin Conservatories are also level 1 (, time is wasted, Valeska levels up poorly, the only useful thing is Air, after expert Air I had to take Estate for money, definitely not a papal leveling setup. Ivor and Mephala were also working via chain. I obtained a Titan's Gladius and a shield +3. I was already thinking about changing the main hero. By the end of week 2, Valeska takes a level 4 Griffin Conservatory, finally a good Griffin Conservatory, I build archers, horses, take the external dwelling of horses, a Dragon Fly Hive of 6 wyverns. Valeska goes to the ГО, Mephala stands at a Dragon Utopia, at the other end there was another Dragon Utopia, a Griffin Conservatory, a Dragon Fly Hive, but very far away. From week 3, Mephala takes the Dragon Utopia with 9 archers, 8 champions and other devourer, while Valeska with archers and griffins continues forward. Already before the ГО. The Dragon Utopia was pre-max, but the only useful things were an Air Book, a helmet +10 knowledge. Not far from the ГО, another Dragon Fly Hive +6, shield +4 and armor for attack +4 are taken. Valeska kills the ГО behind devils with a large stack, but the timer didn't allow going further. Then I scouted poorly, Valeska lost movement and couldn't reach the Dragon Utopia, though she could have (. And then the finale, where the impla immediately knocked out 4 archers. If I had taken that Dragon Utopia immediately — and as I found out later, there were boots +2, necklace +3, and Sentinel's Shield. There was an Air boost. Then the chain would have hit for 850, stats 20 22... it would have been a completely different finale, but alas. GG. Thanks for the game.
