Confirmed — Galtran appeared in the tavern on day 1. I necroed with him all through week 1; at the respawn: 4 crypts, an external dwelling of centaurs, an external dwelling of dendroids, 3 experience obelisks. The block on the adjacent zone of the Medusa Queen (20-49 units) was broken on 117; by the end of the week I built unicorns + a Citadel. On 1.2.1 I took human secondary skill; on 1.2.6 I built the cliffs, broke through to the teleport to the third Inferno castle. On 132 I saw Kyra with a stack of wyverns; on the next turn I lost to fireball without a chance — 50 wyverns killed everyone in one hit.
As for heroes: I trained Galtran in the first week. At the end of the first week I found Septinna in the tavern; I took her for the literacy, ran through the obelisks — it gave me advanced Tactics, since there was a lot of shooter guard, I decided to fight her with Septienna. On 1.2.1 Solmir appeared in the tavern and I broke through to a Pandora's box with 5k experience — it gave Expert Literacy + Advanced Wisdom, and I was able to learn Chain Lightning, which helped me break through. But Brown was far ahead, and that didn't really decide things (
