Confirmed. I spent too long trying to start necromancing in the black, constantly having to break through tough guards and shooter blocks, resurrect and run to the well to replenish mana, and only towards the end of the second week did the bone stack start growing.

Also, I need to pay more attention to the economy, because I was constantly short on gold, and in that final battle there was an option to buy off with a decent bone stack, and then after replenishing mana, finish off the opponent.

+ I misjudged my strength before the final battle; I should have necromanced a bit more, or taken the home Dragon Utopia. Oh well, at least I gained good experience.

At the start, I only had 13 elves, but there was an external dwelling of Centaurs, stables, and Mephala in the tavern. The road split in 3 directions, one of which was blocked by 20-49 Earth Elementals, guarding a strategic obelisk along with the passage. Another led to the Dragon Utopia. I really wanted to break through the poopy guards, but decided that 13 Grand Elves might not be enough and went the 3rd way. In the end, I broke through into a Conflux zone.
By the way, a quick question – should I have broken through those Fire Elementals?

I captured a castle in week 1, looted crypts, collected gold. In week 2, I broke through the Earth Elementals, then the Water Elementals, and emerged into an Inferno zone. By that time, Mephala had leveled up her logistics and collected the first Dragon Fly Hive, defeating a bear guard. Next to the Dragon Fly Hive there was a passage to the dirt terrain; I decided to break through it and send a scout, and unexpectedly there were two external dwellings of horses and the Helm of Heavenly Thunder behind the Hydras.

In week 3, I actively collected resources, stretched chains for Dragon Fly Hives across half the map, shuttled Mephala back and forth, and eventually hatched a cunning plan: to break through the Dragon Utopia of Angels on day 137 and burst into the main area against my opponent. I gathered 16 horses, 24 Wyverns, 48 Grand Elves, 120 Centaurs, Dendroid Soldiers, and Pegasi to soften up the Angels, and positioned Mephala in front of the Dragon Utopia on day 136. Due to a couple of morale procs, I lost 3 horses and 4 Wyverns, but I decided to see it through.

I didn't reach the castle, but my opponent decided to attack me himself. In terms of battle stats, Valeska was well ahead of Mephala: 15 12 vs 6 7. But the opponent's army was smaller – 1 Angel, 9 Efreet Sultans, 5 Champions, 60 Marksmen, 14 Swordsmen. When the Efreet used Tactics and wiped out 20 Grand Elves in the very first round, I already thought I had lost. But in the end, the Wyverns, horses, Centaurs, and Grand Elves, along with insane morale, were enough for victory.
