registration and discussion of the upcoming online tournament for Might & Magic: Heroes
Wouldn't it be better to ban all Factions before the game and let the players decide which ones to ban, so that in the next game, they won't play with this pair of Factions, etc.? Anyway, they will have to play with all of them eventually.
The idea is that the Factions in this tournament are divided into light mages, dark mages, light warriors, and dark warriors. It should be interesting.

I suggest: - 6 teams play 3 matches simultaneously. Since a match consists of 2 rounds, it will take 2 weeks per match. In total, each team will have to play 5 matches within the "round robin," which will take 10 weeks (2.5 months). - The order of banning templates, Factions, and choosing colors is described in my scheme. For each "two-week period," I have an idea to hold a live (I plan to stream) draw for matches between teams that have not yet played each other, and to choose (for each match) a set of Factions from those presented in my scheme (with the selected ones being removed and then restored). - The parameters for generating maps are standard for HoMM, as are the other general rules.
p.s.: I'm ready to hold the first draw on June 11, 2014, around 8 PM Moscow timeWatch here
As usual, I didn't understand much, but it seems okay, I'm in!
