In the first week, I focused on getting Griffins in the Citadel and securing several resource nodes, using them to generate income. I managed to build up enough gold to support this strategy, even though I only had one Crypt. In the second week, things got interesting. My main hero, Grindan, ventured into the dungeon with Griffins. He spent three days exploring an almost empty map, and then had to retreat for two more days after spotting Gunnar. Eventually, he reached his only treasure location, but an opponent had already been there. Meanwhile, Cyriel managed to grab the Castle and Fortress and, feeling frustrated that Gunnar had snatched the +4+4 shield right from under her nose (which was crucial even with zero stats), she launched a desperate attack on him. Due to a lack of mana and overall sluggishness, she had to retreat, leaving Gunnar with over 30 archers. Grindan then focused on taking the Naga Bank using explosives, as there was no one left to fight. However, Cyriel got a double mana boost and built stables at level 141 (Grindan also had Intelligence), and started upgrading her Griffins. It wasn't entirely clear what to do or where to go next. I decided to go for a secondary resource location that I hadn't taken in the first or second week, as the Red player had already established himself there. But the opponent surrendered because of Conflux's full control. I would have liked to continue the game.
