Same situation, but faster – it created one road leading to a one-way path, and the opponent approached the only good choke point with his entire army (he didn't even lose pixies, it seems) – he decided that 19 elves would damage 100+ skeletons enough that on the second turn, with their ambush and portal, there would be a chance to defend, but there was full mana and haste.
