How would the ability to reveal a player's role help the town more than it helps in a regular Mafia game? Is it because there are many revealed Neutral roles here, and because of this, it's easier to prove the truth of the reveal?

The combination of a revealed Sheriff and Doctor will cut off all of the Mafia's hopes, I think.
And for the Villain, a counter-reveal is too risky in an open game.
