I'll just say: it's likely that some players do exactly that – that is, when a player thinks they might lose a game, they will first find some excuse to postpone it, and then, under all possible pretexts, refuse the opponent's offers to finish the game. We should consider adding amendments to the rules: if a game is postponed by one of the opponents N times or within N months, they should automatically be given a loss!
