It was a tough game. For blue, there are no roads at all, except for 2 dead-end villages + 1 one-way. On day 1, I lost a day conquering a bunch of wood (never found the sawmill), got scared of losing tempo and on day 116 dove into the one-way with my main hero, thinking the 2 gatekeepers would solve all problems. I should have checked that the exit was several frames away from anything (had to march for 3 days after scouting first) — in short, only by the end of week 2 did I return and unite the troops to take the Griffin Conservatory (another mini one was taken by a scout with 3 horses).
On day 13, no roads, no army, but the necro showed up and started its magic) Again into the one-way, exploring its road network that connects to red — so I acted cautiously, like those pilots bombing Berlin (Stirlitz there). By day 137, 5 angels and 44 wyverns.
On day 4, the opponent arrived, we skirmished a bit with scouts over castles, I'm stuck — no artifacts, no magic, the only Dragon Utopia gave 2 sacks)
Day 21 — mostly searching for side passages; at the end of the week, red with Flight and Dimension Door takes the tasty Conflux with built phoenixes — and Valessa just happened to be ramping up nearby%) Clearly, this was the only opportunity; army-wise, I was stronger (I thought due to skeletons, but the wyverns turned out to be twice as many too). FB Valessa 20 16 9 7(23) (6 phoenixes, 10 angels, 85 wyverns, 11 horses, 840 skeletons and 50+ archers+) -- Gretchen 29 14 9 8 (KSh) 10 angels, 43 wyverns, a few eagles+ and spectres, killed without magic at the cost of phoenixes, archers, 2 angels, and a dozen wyverns.
During the process, something funny happened — the opponent took auto with the condition of playing for a draw, then I got annoyed myself, misclicked and lost a dozen archers and skeletons, and took auto back%)
Also, after postponing, I forgot I had broken through the 9k guard into a close super treasure zone, full of Hives and Dragon Utopias — SSZB
Thanks for the game and for the postponement)
A very ambiguous game turned out. First, wild money problems and an awful road network due to one-ways. Throughout the entire game, I had to choose where to go from lousy options, and the computers were just overwhelming at times (especially in the late stage). From the start of the game, 2 Griffin Conservatories near the main and a Hive — seemed fine, but on day 1 I couldn't deploy behemoths, and then I decided to take the Conservatory (I don't even remember which one now, I think a 3). First thing, I took a mini Conservatory, then lost a fight in a trash zone. At the start of week 3, having bought not all the army with my pennies, I hoped to finish off Conservatory 3, but lost again and already wrote that I was surrendering, but they offered auto, I continued for a draw, with a trade of everything, and with a more correct purchase, I barely finished it off, then started to pick up steam. Took the Conflux, built phoenixes, took their external dwelling, but they died on a scout hero when, without checking the Rampart castle, I attacked with a scout hero and lost 6 phoenixes and a decent scout army.
Took 2 Dragon Utopias, got КВ and the blue cap. Started dealing with my mega-dumb roads, or rather the castle layout, where in a central location from which I could reach them was the entrance to a one-way, and the exits in inconvenient places. It turned out that I definitely needed to take zoog's Conflux. (having 2 Confluxes + an external dwelling), and the Dimension Door would already start collecting the whole map the next day. I didn't expect nearly 1k skeletons from Valessa, and for some reason stayed overnight with the red orb. Also, I didn't believe there would be an attack on me in the castle. I didn't spot Valya, because various blue scouts were hanging around the spot from which I could be reached, and I mistook her for another scout; when I passed the turn — I saw it was her))), but it was too late.
Thanks for the game!
