There, several areas could be considered intermediate; it's unclear what you meant. Are you saying that multiple passages might not be just 3 elevators, but an elevator plus portals? I seem to recall seeing something like that, but this phenomenon is about 1-2 orders of magnitude less common than the issues we're discussing, in my opinion.
