A brief overview of the playoff rules.

In the upper bracket, the competition is best-of-three. In the first two matches, the color scheme and castle layout are the same as in the group stage. If a third match is required, a coin is flipped to determine the starting color and starting layout (blue starts with the layout). Castles are placed randomly, and players can choose their starting bonus. Colors are switched after each subjective restart, with a total of 113 restarts for each player. The layout is chosen from the pool of layouts provided in the first post.

In the lower bracket, matches are best-of-one. The blue player chooses the layout and castle.

The deadline for each match is 11 days, starting on May 13, 2014.
