How do I pull it off? For building basic elf archers, the initial wood will suffice. Afterwards, you can either exchange resources or accumulate a bit more and upgrade the archers to get those with stunning arrows. The initiative will be higher for the archers than for the mages (and even more so if you're playing as Wing...).
A simple example: 20 mages are divided into 4 groups of 5 each. You can have a maximum of 19-20 archers (this is considering you're playing as Osher; how you'll pull it off with Wing is unclear, as you'll have fewer than 10-12 archers). Furthermore, even if you outnumber all the mages, 5 archers won't kill 5 mages! Only with luck. The losses will clearly be significant. If you want to argue, provide a replay. In general, it's difficult to overcome any archers or mages without losses when playing as elves. Does anyone have a strategy for playing them on rush maps without any losses?
