I hope Russia won't just stick to words.

The same information can be presented from different angles, in a good or bad light. In a way that benefits oneself and in a way that portrays one's opponents negatively.

If you watch Russian news, the Ukrainians are to blame.
If you watch Ukrainian news, the Russians are to blame.

The more of a certain type of news you listen to, the more you become informationally dependent on it. Opposing, radically different information is perceived as "nonsense" and rejected. That's why people watch specific channels because the other political camp is just lying, it's all lies.

I hardly watch television; it clutters my mind. Very rarely, I'll watch online: Russia 24, ORT, LifeNews, and, in contrast, 1+1, Inter, and Channel 5. Even less often, I watch "Freedom of Speech" with Shuster. I listen, compare, and then sink further into an information vacuum.

Political obsession is a terrible mental disorder.
