The 146-meter-long and 22-meter-wide ferry sank in the morning of April 16. It turned out that it was overloaded three times. According to the latest data, the number of victims is 185 people. More than 170 people were rescued. In total, there were 475 passengers and crew members on board. 20 out of 29 crew members have been detained or arrested on charges of negligence and failure to assist passengers.
Among the victims are mainly schoolchildren who were traveling to Jeju Island with their teachers. Several crew members, including the captain of the ship, have already been detained in connection with the ferry disaster. It is already known that the crew missed the moment when the passengers needed to be evacuated. When the ferry began to list, people were told to stay in their cabins. Soon, panic began. At this time, the captain and several other crew members were leaving the ship under the guise of passengers. And 22-year-old Park Ji-young, also from the crew, was distributing life jackets, CNN reports.
Witnesses note that the brave girl (according to some reports, she worked in a cafe on board) began distributing life jackets as soon as the ship began to list. When the life jackets ran out, she rushed to another deck to get more. One of the witnesses asked her why she herself was not wearing a life jacket. The girl replied that the crew members should be saved last. She helped many of the survivors leave the sinking ship, but she herself could not get out.
Now, Park Ji-young's body is in the funeral hall in the city of Incheon. People who she helped to survive come to her coffin to say goodbye. One of them, a man with a bandaged head, said that he was "in debt" to the girl. When he was injured during the disaster, she found a towel to bandage his head and helped him get out.
The relatives of the deceased heroine said that she was very kind and responsible. And the fact that the captain fled the sinking ship, and the girl died saving passengers, is simply unfair, they believe. According to them, Park Ji-young wanted to study at a college, but she left there to work and support her family after her father died two years ago. In 2012, she got a job at a company that deals with ferry transportation, and six months ago she started working on the Sewol.
Divers... found a couple of students – a girl and a young man – in the internal premises of the ferry, who tied their life jackets together so as not to get lost... "I cried when I realized that they didn't want to be separated," said a rescuer.
The day before, the Reuters agency also reported on the discovery of the body of a teenager who first reported the incident. He called the rescue service from the ferry and said in a trembling voice: "Save us! We are on the ferry and, I think, we are sinking." Only three minutes after this call, the crew members sent a distress signal. The teenager's body was found only a week after the disaster. The parents identified him by his clothes, although a genetic examination is still to be carried out to confirm his identity.

Player becomes the first in the world to complete World of Warcraft

More than 17,000 hours were spent by a Ukrainian gamer with the nickname Hiruko to complete all levels and collect all possible achievements in the popular massively multiplayer online game World of Warcraft...
Some Russian publications for some reason write that Hiruko is a Russian, but Die Welt reports that he is a 32-year-old Ukrainian who lives in Kyiv, and his real name is Andrey.
His game character, Hiruko, reached the highest 90th level and collected all 2057 game achievements possible at the present time in World of Warcraft. On his way to victory, Hiruko was protected by his friends from the "CrashTest" guild, who "killed" all his rivals who tried to reach the 90th level.
Hiruko is not the only player to have collected all the achievements in WoW. Previously, this was also possible for others, but as expansions are released in WoW, new achievements appear, and Hiruko became the first to collect all the achievements available at the present time. According to him, he is now waiting for December, when the fifth expansion for WoW, called Warlords of Draenor, is due to be released.
