Regarding saves - the Incas left right when I was recording how to defeat the vampires. So, they are overpowered there. About the prayer - I need it because it gives + to attack, defense, and +20% initiative for a couple of turns. (especially good if there's no mana to cast a blessing). About the level 1 units - if you didn't notice, all of them were dying when I was clearing out the neutrals (especially at the castle with the priests) - liches and banshees. I tried to defeat the higher-level vampires with level 1 units - it's the same, but I saved 1-2 warriors more. Regarding troops (and infantry too) - my dear, where am I going to get more? I have no money, and the resources are scarce. If I take the time to clear them out, I'll lose the whole map because of the 4-week time limit. There's no other way.
