We started without restarts, it seems. The spawn was very good (except for the roads: one led to a crossroads with 7 passages, one path immediately dead-ended at a one-way portal exit, and another went straight into a computer barbarian — I had to wander through the lava the whole time).
The elves' Necropolis under the Castle gave 18 Grands; Kyrre leveled up quickly and powerfully — +3 shield, +4 attack mace, oil. By the second week: 10 Angels from 3 Conservatories and 16 Wyverns from two Dragon Fly Hives.
On the third week, I hung around for a day near the Dragon Utopia max in the treasure zone while the fattening-up hero arrived, and without much trouble I pulled out a +12/-3 shield and a blue cap.
From the capital's tavern, I jumped to the library, then the stables, then the mana well, and headed straight for the respawn of the opponent, which was partially revealed by scouting from the first week.
On turn 137, I jumped, and the opponent's capital fell. Surrender followed.
Thanks for the game!
