I gave up in the underground, Troglodytes were mediocre; on week 1 I took a Dwarf Cottage-fifteen, an external dwelling of Minotaurs behind the Lvl 3 Cerberi, and placed them in the Citadel + portal. I revealed 2 Griffin Conservatories (both large) and a Dragon Fly Hive. On week 2 I defeated the ramp computer, found another Griffin Conservatory and stables on its territory. Shakti leveled up perfectly; by the time I took the first Griffin Conservatory I had expert Attack, Tactics, Logistics, and Earth with Slow. On turn 127 I took the max Griffin Conservatory with the loss of 1 upgraded Minotaur. On week 3, with reinforcement delivery, I took the second Griffin Conservatory (also max) and a Dragon Fly Hive without losses, went back to the ramp to refill mana at the well, enter the stables, and take a Griffin Conservatory (tier two). Scout heroes, without wasting time, take another Dragon Fly Hive and break through the exit into the treasure zone; I see many hives there. On my turn 134 I see the opponent within reach. I attack Shakti into the castle near the Treasury, bring up the army, and assault. My army: 27 upgraded Minotaurs, 13 Ducks, 10 Angels, 77 Troglodytes, 13 Evil Eyes + singles. Opponent's army: 14 ramp horses, 4 Champions, 21 Ducks, 6 Monks, 5+1+1 Swords. The presence of Slow, Mass Shield, and meat superiority left no chance.
Thanks for the game.
Bad generations for both players made us use all restarts, perhaps a bad decision was to take 112, but I noticed that opponent had advantage in that exact save so I risked and took restart. Unfortunately got very bad spawn, no gold and no cons in any of the zones that I went through, perhaps there was a slim chance that I could have won if I went more aggressive as I think I had more hives, but lots of archers were too much to beat with Castle army before 114, unfortunately it proved to be too much of a delay as opponent basically had 3 days advantage.
Thanks for the game, good luck in the next round.
