When using dragons, try to hit as many enemy units as possible – they might inflict aging on 3-4 of them.:smile05:
But you should usually attack units that won't retaliate.
I usually use zombies or ghosts as cannon fodder, attack, receive a counterattack, and then it's up to the dragons (and then, of course, skeletons, knights, liches, and vampires).
