The forum has been inactive for a long time.

Actually, the reason I decided to post this is because players have discussed with me on several occasions in the chat situations where judges made decisions that were not logical.

This is natural.
Judges review controversial situations that are not regulated by the rules. Usually, there are two diametrically opposed opinions, irreconcilable and confident in their correctness. Often, it is simply impossible to find a compromise. A decision is made in favor of one of the parties. The other party is, of course, offended and considers the decision "illogical." They present the situation to their friends from their point of view, and the opponent's arguments are usually omitted. The judges, on the other hand, try to find out the facts from both sides.
Then come the standard accusations - the judge is biased, acted out of friendship, the judge is abusing his powers... It can even be amusing. In the "Rookie" league about a year and a half ago, there was a blatant violation of the rules, and I penalized the player, after which the "victim" accused me of favoring his opponent (and I hadn't even communicated with his opponent before that, and I added him to my chat list much later than the "offended" player, so why would I favor him and to what end - it's hard to understand :confused: ).
Yes, we all know each other here, many in real life, for many years. The judges review many issues, and if a player disagrees with the decision, he goes to the Appeals Committee. There has never been a case where, when discussing an issue in the Appeals Committee, we would tip the scales in favor of someone out of friendship. Rather, the opposite is true; we have higher expectations for well-known, strong players, as they know the rules and are aware of the generally accepted nuances of behavior on the forum.
