At first, no elves showed up at all, I started with upgrading Centaurs, then Dwarves, thus breaking through with Crag Hack against 20-49 ogres. On a secondary mine, I had: Dwarf Cottage maxed, Griffin Conservatory at level 1. Having reached the Dwarf Cottage with Crag Hack and 30 Centaurs, I realize Ivor dominates at the start—I took the Dwarf Cottage as late as 124.

After the Dwarf Cottage and Griffin Conservatory, I take a Dragon Fly Hive with 8 Wyverns, and break through to the opponent's secondary mine, since the other secondary mines are snow and swamp. Along the way, Crag Hack on an Angel defeats Valeska. Later, he takes the opponent's town on a secondary mine—Conflux—and moved on further, but the next day the opponent kills the Angel; I lost Crag Hack, miscalculated.

After losing Crag Hack, the next day Mephala runs to take the opponent's Dwarf Cottage. She had 8 Wyverns; the opponent falls for it and attacks Mephala with all his might. The trap worked—Mephala buys back for 2800.

Then, a prepared Gelare with Expert Power of Magic and Lightning Bolt was stationed in the Conflux town. Using 3 marketplaces, I sell everything, buy everything, funnel all resources to Gelare, and Gelare wins the battle with 40 mana. From the opponent follows GG.

The opponent was strongly baited by the trap (Mephala with Wyverns), hoping for a quick win—he didn't even clear out his own Dragon Fly Hive or maxed Dwarf Cottage.

I won't take Mephala as a starter anymore; breaking through with just Centaurs is a bit too difficult.
