Firstly, I haven't played WoG even once!!

And who is to blame for that?
If he wanted to, he would have played. He would have seen that in WoG, under SoD, there are differences in the balance of magic and cities, the absence of a situation where you end up at a dead end on a one-way road, the removal of unused objects and their replacement with useful ones, and so on. These differences, however, allow the game to be called Heroes of Might and Magic 3, since the basic principles of the game remain the same.
But you're not going to even try, are you? I used to be the same.

So, what's the point of going skiing if you know you're going to break your legs?

And what's the point of leaving the house if you're going to die anyway?
In 2010, I went with the serious intention of playing in a tournament. Upon arrival, it became clear that this intention was wrong.
The main thing in CIS Tournaments is that people who have something in common come together. And that something is Heroes 3. And I don't care what the current version is. I go for the sake of those with whom it is interesting. And we always find a way to have fun and spend time together in a positive way. Those who want to will play Heroes. Those who want to will play Fish. Those who want to will simply communicate with those who have something on their mind besides the elementary physical.
P.S. What's the point of going to a wedding if you know that the wedding is not yours and there will be no sex!
