"Crusade" Tournament (Spring 2014)

We played with a save, so I don't remember everything. I didn't take the rest, I think, only because they were already gone or Dessa came and revealed spiky-speed boots on the respawn. It was tight on gold, so I barely placed the birds by trading resources at three markets. I didn't see a Griffon Conservatory anywhere, so I did my best to scout, but never revealed it. However, on the second day I reached a portal that led to an adjacent zone near the blue player, but since the tavern there showed a stronger army, I turned around and ran to the treasure zone. On the next turn, Crag Hack with over 10 Angels jumped out of the portal and headed toward my main. In 3-4 days he took it. During that time, Dessa was clearing the treasure zone, which had nothing. Not a single Dragon Fly Hive, Griffon Conservatory, or Dragon Utopia — just quest artifacts, cyclops piles with naga armor, and Pandora's Boxes that kept giving me zombies or skeletons.
In the end, the game boiled down to Dessa running from Crag Hack, and Crag Hack chasing her — fortunately her specialty allowed it. Finally, after two weeks of chase/escape, she found the right treasure zone with two Dragon Utopias for stats and КЗ, leaving Crag Hack there all alone :D By then the scout heroes had started demolishing and finally revealed 3 Griffon Conservatories in different directions. On turn 211 I attacked my main, the opponent realized I had control and decided not to continue.
