But why are you comparing the game to chess if they are completely different disciplines? :confused:
If such a thing is possible in chess, it's only because it's not prohibited.

Why did Schalke come out and put up a fight yesterday after losing 1-6, even though everything was already decided and they could have just not played? But Fish and Darkello are so afraid of Toganash (or don't want to compete for 1st place, which would give them an advantage) that they are agreeing to draws with Gomungul. (It's not quite the right comparison, but they were playing for their honor, and there's none of that in a fixed draw.)
As a punishment, they should be matched against Maretti in the 1/8 finals (and Gomungul should be given a higher seed, as he came in 2nd place; maybe then they would understand that everyone will be held accountable for their dirty deeds). :)
