CHALLENGE The_ CHAMPIONS LEAGUE, The_'s CHALLENGE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE
Where can resentment come from if you play poorly yourself? If you can't win, and then get upset that others gave you an undesirable result, then you should only be upset with yourself! IMHO.
I'm not your father, but aren't those words a bit too harsh? And there's a huge difference between having a chance to win in a competitive match and when the competitive aspect is replaced with a pre-arranged agreement, where you definitely have no chance. (Again, I remind you that with the consideration of draws, I have no chance, but in a fair game, I do). And if you noticed, I expressed my resentment not because of my own game, but against the violation of sports principles and respect for opponents. And can this statement of yours be interpreted as a defense of pre-arranged, behind-the-scenes deals?
P.S.: It seems to me, or does it actually read: "if you play poorly, then you a priori have fewer rights here"?
