Many Lizardmen arrived + they were also built up + an external dwelling near the Castle. The respawn is small and there is nothing on it except one Dragon Fly Hive for 50 grand. But there are fast exits to the comp, two of which are shifted and the third is behind light guard. Also, Galtran arrives, and Taz grabs First Aid. On the comp zones there is also one hive each. On days 121-122 I take 2 hives with Galtran and 1 with Taz. Both grab Earth magic. Galtran leveled up royally. In the Castle zone I spot 2 Griffin Conservatories (2+3), capture it last and go into his treasure zone. The treasure zone is very tasty - a couple of chests for experience and one for the entire fifth level (Wisdom just became expert) + 2 Dragon Utopias nearby. Also had a lookout on the main, which revealed part of the opponent's necro respawn and part of his treasure zone. Shakhter barged into that one (and got stuck there on the rocks for a long time).
On day 141 I send Galtran home to replenish mana and cast DD to the opponent. Along the way, Archmages and Ducks are upgraded. Result - 10 Archmages, 50+ Ducks, 500+ Skeletons, and a hundred Lizardmen. + an Imp on 1800! I see Shakhter deep in the treasure zone, standing by a Dragon Utopia. I run to the town and kill a scout hero along the way. The opponent sees my army and on his turn, after taking the Dragon Utopia, surrenders!
Thanks for the game!
I confirm. The starting layout was good: spawned underground, 2 native heroes, the starting artifact was Spirit of Oppression, and under the Castle there was an external dwelling with Manticores and a Dwarf Cottage. On day 111 I took all of this, set up a Portal (with some difficulty, as there was little money on the respawn), and ran to the comps, which were clearly less lucky. I had to split the army: Brissa with 4 Manticores and the chaff went to kill the Citadel comp, while Shakhter ran to Conflux. Both were unlucky: the Citadel comp slipped into the treasure zone with the Swamp Castle through a shifted guard, took the town there, and flew off in an unknown direction (but did build a Fort) - I had to chase him for who knows how long, while the Conflux comp scattered an unimaginable number of heroes across his huge respawn and stubbornly refused to attack the Castle. On the respawn and comp zones, the only things of interest were a single Griffin Conservatory, an external market, and otherwise - tumbleweeds. On week 2 I was building up and recouping resources: Bears were built in the Fort, Wyverns in the Citadel, Cats in the Castle (with the Portal), and I ran to kill the last Necro comp and finally start on his treasure zone, because for some reason (I still don't understand why) I thought it was an underground Citadel zone (I revealed it with a lookout on the respawn) with an external dwelling for Bears (it was for this purpose that the Bears were built, in fact). It turned out that the comp's respawn runs as a long sausage across the entire right side of the map upward, and his treasure zone is on the rocks, and moreover, the opponent revealed that treasure zone. In the end, I just felt sorry to retreat since I had already arrived, so I decided to go onto the rocks hoping for control, where I got thoroughly stuck. By the time the opponent arrived, I had shaken out about 30 Ducks there, a million chests for experience (none for magic or good meat). Of the native troops, there were 30+ Cats and 40+ Evil Eyes. On the turn when the opponent appeared, I took one of the Dragon Utopias - it gave junk, and I surrendered immediately. After the reveal, it turned out that the neighboring Dragon Utopia contained КЗ and КВ (with Air, Earth, and 400 mana), which would have allowed me to easily and quickly gobble up 2 other treasure zones (which, by the way, were absolutely awesome, with max-level dwellings, good Dragon Utopias, and chests). Overall, I played poorly, chose the wrong direction for my main, plus made a couple of other small mistakes that also decided the outcome.
Thanks for the game, good luck further!
