long time resetting. eventually respawned with a diplomacy pillar, but strong blocks all around.. elves with heroes didn't show up.. couldn't break through to the tree right away.. on 122 Mephala showed up.. made her a mama.. in the tavern I kept seeing Mephala was stronger, but when Vokial came, it turned out there were hundreds of skeletons.. had to split and go home for troops and mana. then a long run around, during which I found Town Portal in a Pandora's Box and built Dimension Door in the castle. long grinding.. opponent surrendered. thanks for the game

During the check, I forgot, of course, about the tournament rules, but I got lucky - we got Rampart vs Tower.
On the restarts I messed up - first tournament besides Novice, I thought 111+112 was three days total.
Thanks to the opponent for understanding, we reset like that.

A Necro showed up, external dwelling of Gargoyles near the castle. Adjacent zone is snow, diplomacy isn't moved, but at the end of the week a hut with it was found.
I start necromancing. On 112 I scout the lookout, in the accessible zone there are two Dragon Fly Hives, external dwelling of Gremlins.
On the first one I couldn't build properly, only had enough money for mages.
On the second I ran off-road to the comp-dungeon, but the passage to the castle was blocked, so I just necromanced.
On the third I ran into treasure zone, there's a Griffin Conservatory-4, after brief hesitation I decide to take it, even though I only have enough for one oil for three turns.
With 200 caps, 16 mages, 170 skeletons, and 24 golems it goes down fine even with griffin morale (I had a pendant for morale-luck +3 equipped).
After that I run around aimlessly in the treasure zone, lose skeletons, find a fat Dragon Utopia, can't take it, and a scroll of implosion.
Opponent shows up, I run to make contact, have implosion for 600, though his stats are a bit higher.
I clear the treasure zone, opponent disappears somewhere, I find another Conservatory-double.
On 147 I found a cheater cartographer, it got pretty boring.
On 211 I see Mephala has full control, I decide to intercept.
On 212 opponent prepares to jump to me, I'm nearby.
I bring up a scroll of implosion, opponent is in the castle, but I'm one step short of reaching him.
I run home, set up a chain to the Dragon Utopia in the underground treasure zone. Opponent shouldn't see it.
In the Dragon Utopia I get a water book, a necklace, and boots for stats, but what I need is control.
I run further into the treasure zone, there I find another Dragon Utopia, inside it КЗ. I recruit 169 Grand Elves, 40 Power Liches.
After that we ran around a bit, then saved. After thinking it over I decide not to continue - due to lack of air control there's no chance. I messed up by not picking Wisdom anywhere.
