11.03.2014 Lim4 (red, random Tower, random Tan, Cult) def u2noob (blue, random, Swamp, Gervulf, Gervulf) 2sm4d (3), 116
We both chose all restarts, then re-picked after the match. In the final draft, I got a double Tower. I almost didn't make it to the second town on turn 112 because on turn 111, my main unit didn't reach the target in 570 moves due to a lack of time and the habit of chatting :) And u2noob took his second town on turn 112. Due to the "Go" rule on the road, an early encounter was possible. The opponent arrived on turn 115, attacked the scout, and I wrote that I would take the re-pick. (I didn't dislike his army as much as I disliked the Solmyr that the opponent had in reserve, hidden in the Tower. And I also thought that since he wasn't taking the re-pick, I definitely should:D) It's good that I didn't go into the endgame, because according to the rules, the possibility of taking a re-pick was reduced to turn 114, that is, until yesterday... In general, he ran two scouts at me, who, while fleeing, attacked the lizards with ranged attacks, and didn't reach the main unit by one tile. On my turn, I destroy with Cult, buy more golems, and attack.
Cult stats: 5 5 2 3 (30), Gervulf: 0 10 - -.
I kill all the warriors, leaving one lizard and 10+ gnolls + a ballista. The Gervulf escapes. I stay to replenish mana. On turn 116, Solmyr takes my second town with 4 snakes and a couple of pikemen + a ballista. We see that he is not very developed, that is, he won't be able to cause much damage. 101 rattlesnake with a health artifact +1, and there are also golems, gargoyles, mages, and ranged attacks of 2 points... Probably, guided by the same considerations, the opponent decides not to continue the game.
Thank you for the game.
