I hope you didn't kill some characters too early, for example, one of the orc leaders on the farm, and so on. Some of these characters are quest-related, and if you kill them at the beginning of the game, you won't get the quest associated with them later.
Is there any chance to complete the game for the Humans? How much reputation do they have? Did you complete Mantir's quest to find the ship blueprints?

I also read somewhere that there is a quest to repair the portal, and that the Cyclops are muttering about something; someone wrote that they killed the Cyclops.
