The Crossbowmen are armed with a new type of double-barreled crossbow. It is equipped with a convenient reloading mechanism, which allows the crossbowman to respond to enemy fire by launching a heavy bolt that can sometimes knock them off their feet. If an enemy gets too close, the crossbowmen do not rush to draw their daggers but instead retreat to a favorable position to pierce the armor of the stunned opponent with a crossbow arrow.
