Yesterday evening, a report from Gomunguls appeared:

with the following note:

In the second game, they agreed on a draw!

Either they didn't have time, or they didn't want to, or it was more profitable not to take risks.
Naturally, the organizer of the Tournaments, The_, was very upset. He puts a lot of effort into organizing, and this attitude didn't please him.
Therefore, he decided to somehow punish Vitaly. They argued for a long time (judging by the time difference in the posts, about an hour and a half to two), and Timur decided that if a draw is counted in the rating, it will be some kind of punishment for Vitaly. Timur doesn't know that when a draw is counted in the seasonal rating at the beginning of the season, the "value" of a draw is at most 1-2 points. In the permanent rating, it's more - here, Gomunguls will lose about 15 points in the sum of two games (about -6 with LeBron and -9 with Darkello), which is equal to 1 win against an average opponent. So there's no punishment here. If you want to punish, you need to come up with something stronger.

I will not count this in the rating. I am strongly against writing fake reports without games.

I also have a very negative attitude towards match-fixing. But I don't see a way to prevent such things. It's better for players to honestly say that they want a technical result than to write fantastic reports and fake saves.
We always assign technical results at the very end. I don't understand why there was such a rush if there are still 2 months left before the end of the groups.
