Opponent took 1 restart, and we started playing. On the first day, the map seemed decent: there was a lot of gold that could be taken without a fight, 2 Necropolises appeared, and a Griffin Conservatory was found. On the second day, the overall picture was slightly spoiled by a very long road from the starting location and unpleasant blockades along it, but I still decided not to risk restarting. On the third day, it turned out that the long road was accompanied by a metro system, and the neighboring starting location was flooded – unpleasant, and there was nowhere to retreat.
As a result, I finished the first week with Tamika in the Dungeon, level 8, having gathered no more than 100 skeletons, losing some of them on ranged attack blockades, but as a bonus, I have mass speed and find another Conservatory. At home, I build levels 1-6 in the Citadel with a Prefect's Office; the Archers take Crypts, the Vassals take a Watch Tower, and 2 more remain uncaptured. The second week is not progressing very quickly. At home, the Archers and Vassals each take one more Watch Tower, Tamika in the Dungeon captures her native town, frees Sandro, a Necromancer, level 10, and a Conservatory for 1 Angel appears. Also, 2 more Watch Towers for Archers and Hydras are captured there – the stack of units promises to be threatening, but all this is only on the third week. In the next week, I plan to take the home Conservatory 3-4 and Utopia. I didn't mention that on turn 117, Goshan appeared for the opponent in the tavern, which added to my worries.
On turn 131, the opponent appears in the portal not far from the town underground and immediately hides. Tamika is preparing to take the Green Elven Castle, which was barely found with such roads. My thoughts are occupied with considering a possible defense against the Red player in case he approaches the town, and how to combine this with taking the home Conservatory and the Dragon Utopia. But I was probably worried for nothing – on turn 132, the opponent surrenders, citing a lack of money and the resulting unsatisfactory pace of his game. Also, it seems that he lost quite a few more troops on his last turn.
Thanks for the game.
