Unusual Heroes

Ple-Sen, are you saying that practically anyone can join any kingdom and become a hero?

Yes, that's what I'm saying. And the games allow it. What's the problem?

A Goblin is too clumsy to become a mage.

Just look at the list of battle mages in Heroes 3. Or try to create a goblin mage in Might & Magic 7.

And an Elf is too proud to be a servant of King Gryphonheart.

1) King Gryphonheart has been dead for a long time.
2) Even in his Lich form.
3) Gelu, in whose honor you named yourself, serves Roland and Catherine, the rulers of Enroth and Erathia.
