Discussion of level 4 monsters.

Could someone write an interesting response in this thread about some rarely discussed creature? Because it seems like here, mostly fans of Chaos Dragons are present. The other creatures are completely in the shadows. I think the topic is not fully explored.

I think you're right - the topic is not fully explored. This is more like a selection of the coolest monster than a discussion. Take a look at the reference in my signature - I have a brief description of the monsters' abilities and the specifics of their use. And in general, there is a fundamental work written by Milord VSK, which describes in detail the abilities of level 4 monsters and provides their comparisons in single and group combat.

In my opinion, there was no point in adding Black Dragons to this list; there is nothing to discuss here. They surpass the others in this list in all parameters, and they can only lose to another level 4 creature in a weekly equivalent.
In my opinion, if we remove Black Dragons, Sea Serpents, Bone Dragons, and Berserk Bulls from the expansion dominate.

Monsters of the same level can be strong and weak, so it is more objective to compare them in a weekly equivalent. After all, only Black Dragons appear once a week, while other monsters appear 2, and some even 3 (Thunderbirds) and 4 (Cavalry) times a week. And Black Dragons cost as much as 2 other monsters.
Sea Serpents are quite the creatures; no brute can stand against them in melee combat. But they cannot be hired - probably so that they don't accidentally swallow their owner.
From the expansions, Gargantuars will be more dangerous than any Gnoll Marauder; it is better to avoid them if possible. And Dark Champions are also not a gift. But each of them has its own Achilles' heel, or at least there is a tactic with which they can be defeated.
