22.02.2014 Aiwe (blue, Rampart, Kyrr) def Twaryna (red, Dungeon, Shakti) 8mm6a 216

Everything starts off quite well; on day 1 I take a couple of crypts, make my money back, and build horses in the Castle (I decide not to upgrade the kents). I take the computer's Tower and try to figure out where the exit to the center is.

On the 2nd week, I immediately take the level 3 Griffin Conservatory, run into my central zone—there Kyrr spends 4 days running across fields without a road. Same thing at home; I built TP+DD in the library, but here's the catch: I decided not to take wisdom on day 6, and instead they shoved scouting in there (which I didn't regret in the end), so I'm stuck for now, though I can use a meteor scroll for 125 damage :D. On the approach, I see

Since there is no road, I decide to just fly Kyrr wherever my eyes lead; the main thing is to level up wisdom and earth, take the Castle, and I don't care about logistics, I think—logistics simply won't reach me with a chain of 7 heroes, the home center generated too crazy. Strangely enough, this saved me.

On day 125, I saw the shaktër on an archangel (scouting helped); I cursed that lucky guy and firmly decided to punish him :smile51: .

On day 131, I break into the neighboring center, stop without momentum, and suddenly a miner flies out with an archangel and 6 angels; after his mass haste, I have almost nothing left, no money for same-day buyout ->> I retreat :(
The presence of +3 HP on troops is especially scary, meaning an elixir build is very likely.

That's it, things are bad, I think, but there's growth, there's an unclaimed level 3 Griffin Conservatory on the respawn, GM5 DD TP for future prospects; there's simply no road to it, which means—I have time.
I buy out at home, hit the conservatory, and there is a Temple for +2 stats. I run to my own treasure zone, eating a Pandora's box on the way +45 gr. lizards (for me that was a powerful army :D ).
At the end of the 3rd week, I take the Castle village; at least archangels are in perspective...

On the 4th, it turns out there are 2 external dwellings of angels in the treasure zone, a Dragon Utopia, and a Griffin Conservatory. I buy up almost all the meat (only 7 angels as a strike stack + 5 horses, 8 dragonlets)—I take the utopia, a level 2 with a sword +5 stats. I start feeling more confident. Finally, wisdom and earth are maxed out. I see another 4 Dragon Utopias—must take them.

In the next Dragon Utopia (maxi), they give +6, +4, +3 stats, +captain's hat of course :D :smile13: . I put this gear on immediately; Twaryna is demoralized by the stat increase over a couple of days from 10-10 to 40-40 :D

The other Dragon Utopias give junk, and another hat for the whole 5th (just when flight was missing), but the main thing—there's 150k for archangels; on day 147, angels are in the Castle :smile13:

Next, 20 archangels—stable (4.5k moves=), monk upgrade (with a box + external dwelling they're nearly 40). In the army there are also 40+ grands, 10 horses and 20+ pegasi for meat. And 50 gr. dwarves, of course )

Funny thing is, on day 211+ I find and take a 3rd external dwelling of angels, meaning archangel growth +8 per week :D :D

From day 211 to 214 I scout, look for the shaktër, take his villages; on day 214 I kill 100+ lizards and 30+ vasyks on a sucker. On day 215 I take the main army; by my day 216 the opponent surrenders (no army to kill 20 archangels, only TP for control, stats at 25, though he has an elixir)

We played this for 4 days. I fought many battles on the verge of losing; it was very hard, but I really wanted to beat the prushnik;)
In the end, through the thorns I saw a god who opened the gates to the angel treasure zone for me. So don't give up, gentlemen!

Thanks for a great game!

P.S. The report is like this because someone didn't register properly for the tournament ;)
