I don't consider myself a "Westerner," even though I live in Chernivtsi, in Western Ukraine. My native language (and my mother's language) is Russian. My grandfather was born in the Tambov Governorate, so when a player in the game said that a "Tambov wolf is my friend," he probably wasn't wrong. I believe that Ukrainians and Russians are brotherly peoples, but not one and the same! The phrase that Romantic found in a post (not mine, although I mostly share these thoughts) applies only to "this topic of hypothetical armed aggression by Russia against Ukraine over Crimea. Don't even think about it." Yes, I strongly and negatively view Putin's great-power, imperial policy. Yes, I believe that the citizens of Russia are paying for this policy with their lives. In particular, in connection with the Kremlin's desire to occupy Chechnya, the civilian population of Russia paid with explosions at their homes and constant terrorist attacks after the genocide of the Chechen people. This phrase applies only to a possible aggression by Russia against Ukraine. In this case, Ukrainians will be forced to defend their homeland. The fact that this is possible is evident from the example of Georgia. I wish the brotherly peoples to live in peace and compete only in the Olympic Games and in "Heroes."
