Since we're talking about Crimea and Kharkiv, I can share some observations. I took a moment to think about it, and realized that none of my acquaintances in Crimea have ever been enthusiastic about the Kyiv extremism. Even those who vehemently voted against Yanukovych.
Regarding Kharkiv, my opinion might not be entirely objective, as I haven't lived there for a long time. But based on my communication with Kharkiv residents on social media, and knowing the political leanings of the people in that region, I'm also confident that it will be difficult for them to reach an agreement with those carrying red and black flags...
I haven't lived in Crimea for a long time either, but my parents live in a small town called Staryi Krym, and believe me, according to them, no one supports Yanukovych, and secondly, who would enthusiastically approve of killings...? And please don't equate the red and black flag with Yanukovych and his thugs all over the country...
