Since we're talking about Crimea and Kharkiv, I can share some observations. I took a moment to think about it, and realized that none of my acquaintances in Crimea have ever been enthusiastic about Kyiv's extremism. Even those who vehemently voted against Yanukovych.
As for Kharkiv, my opinion might not be entirely objective, as I haven't lived there for a long time. But based on my interactions with Kharkiv residents on social media, and knowing the political leanings of the people in that region, I'm also confident that it will be difficult for them to reach an agreement with those carrying red and black flags...
