I find it amusing how some people see conspiracies by the US, NATO, Europe, Jews, gays, reptilians, etc., in everything and everywhere. Who are you even trying to appeal to? Are you still bitter about the Cold War that ended in a complete failure? Or maybe you just need to invent an external enemy because you're too weak to admit that you brought yourselves to this state? It's a brilliant idea, and we'll spread this message through most of the media, and any media outlets that, for some reason, don't broadcast our idea will be declared controlled by one of the many "external enemies."
I'm too lazy to elaborate further, but the point is clear, I hope. This is in response to the question of what happens when the media of one country claims one thing, and foreign media claims something completely different, and yet they agree on something. In that case, I trust the foreign media. This applies to the coverage of the Maidan events in Russia and not just the Maidan. (You can also add some "embellishments" to historical events here). I won't claim anything about Ukrainian channels, as I've only seen live broadcasts from the scene, with practically no commentary.
