I occasionally read articles about the events in Ukraine. What is happening there worries me a lot, as my close relatives live there. I've wanted to express my opinion for a long time, but firstly, I don't have enough time to write lengthy posts in the Ariputra style, and secondly, I'm simply afraid because of the heated atmosphere. Of everything I've read here, I think Wicc's position is closest to my own: I agree with most of his arguments. I don't have the energy or time to argue, but it's so frustrating that events are developing in the worst direction! :( I'll just say one thing: it's clear to me that this is not a popular revolution – what is happening makes that obvious. Whose revolution it is will become clear when the new king ascends the throne. I won't even try to make predictions, but Ukraine will definitely face a choice between a simply bad and a very bad future. :(
