Only the population of the east and south will be satisfied. But the Ukrainian politicians, Ukrainian oligarchs, Russia, the USA, Europe, and the population of western Ukraine will be unhappy. All for different reasons, but they will be unhappy. Therefore, the disintegration of Ukraine does not seem to me to be a very likely scenario.
