Just off the top of my head, based on personal experience: Joy, Sadness, Luck, and Bad Luck are all useless! :smile48: Much more useful are corresponding artifacts that increase morale and luck or suppress them (this is, of course, against the enemy).
Executioner (Assassin) can be really useful in cases where you are facing a large stack of dragons (add to this the dragons' immunity to low-level magic!): 150% damage is no joke!
In general, it's well known that there are some spells that are extremely popular, and others that are rarely used (only in specific cases). But having a choice is always better than a situation where you have nothing to choose from.
