Ina, the cheating heroine.

I won't argue about Inga; all runes are good. But I personally enjoy playing as Ingvor. I have almost a hundred level 1 creatures, and on the second day, I upgrade them to level 2, which provides a solid defense. This ensures faster development than my opponent. I level him up to achieve absolute defense because both Chaos and Summoning are needed, and they are necessary for gathering the main skill. Two slots remain: one for Logistics (depending on the map), and the other is determined by the opponent's faction. That's how I do it. It might be a noob tactic, but I'm using it and doing quite well.
As for Necromancers, Deidra with bonuses to Banshee's Scream is more effective than Zoltan. And Zoltan doesn't have a main skill in the skill wheel. But this skill is very important for the Necropolis, especially against those with Leadership and artifacts that enhance it. However, this is only effective if the map is not small and requires a lot of development.
