He made it to the final too easily; essentially, he got a favorable setup on restarts, which was very enjoyable to play (dungeon + minor minotaur lair + Nagash). Plus, a comrade ran into my zone through the Tower passage and dominated there for a day.
In the final, he took his two restarts in situations where it was difficult to do anything (in the 1st generation, Tyrus with one stack against a swamp with Vistan and one road, and the second, a swamp vs. swamp generation, with Peter's native secondary hero on the grass ((2sm2c template)), with a minor lizard lair and two experience stones; seeing this through the overview, I restarted).
